Job Description

The position requires the candidate to understand client/business requirements and test products created by software developers to ensure that the software has been developed correctly. Primary means of testing will be via black box methodologies and will include interface testing, regression testing, unit, load and automated testing. The candidate must be able to communicate well with both the client and the developers.
  • Requirements analysis.
  • Discussion with developers.
  • Designing Tests for features.
  • Test Planning and Testing.
  • Tests will include: interface testing, regression testing, usability, unit, load and automated testing.
  • Test CRM, WEB applications, Integration testing.
  • Submitting test results.
  • Reporting bugs to bug tracking systems.
  • Tracking time spent on projects.

Required Candidate profile

  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Must have solid understanding of web applications and issues related to web application.
  • Strong understanding of SQL will be a plus.
  • Understanding of Web 2.0 technologies such as AJAX, XML, SOAP would be a positive.
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment to meet project deadlines and expectations.
  • Successful track record of driving successful software product integrations and facilitating teams to achieve quality solutions.
